Vintage Tube Preamp Build Time
Please note that our preamps are hand-built to
order, so it can take anywhere from 20 to 30
business days from the time you place the order to the
time it ships. These times vary based on the
amount of preamps we currently have in the build
process and the complexity of your build. If you choose
a faster method of shipping (UPS first or second day
air), we will do our best to build your preamp in less
time, but cannot guarantee a faster turnaround
time.
So, What is a Vintage Tube Preamp?
'Vintage Tube Preamps' are a line of preamps
designed and manufactured by Speakeasy Vintage Music.
They are optimized to get the best, most realistic
sound out of your keyboard (or guitar) by adding the
warmth, clarity, and grit you can only get from tube
technology.
All of our preamps are handmade featuring classic
tube circuitry with a Class A output. The best way to
describe the design of our Vintage Tube Preamps is that
the front end is modeled after an early 60's blackface
Fender Twin, with modified tone controls to enhance
your Hammond tone, and the back end is modeled after a
Hammond B-3 AO-28 preamp.
Speakeasy Preamp Warranty Information
Any product featured in our preamp pages (including
Vintage Tube Preamps and our two Rhodes solid state
preamps) features a one year shipping, parts, and labor
warranty (except tubes, which are only covered for six
months). However, all of our preamps are also backed by
our Lifetime Labor Warranty,
regardless of whether you are the original owner. What
this means is that you can send your Vintage Tube
Preamp in for repairs and all you will EVER pay for is
parts and shipping. Additionally, any preamp which
comes to our shop will be updated to the current
specifications for no extra charge.
